Brand Identity: Be bold. Be unique. Be you.

As a personal brand, every product and service you are going to offer must have purpose. And to have purpose, it starts with knowing who you are as a brand. We all share some common limiting beliefs when it comes to being who we are unapologetically. Here are some common misconceptions we have about ourselves and our brands:

BELIEF #1: “I’m not good enough.” Let’s kick this one to the curb! God made you unique and one-of-a-kind. He took His time and carefully crafted you to be YOU—your height, weight, features, and all the extra greatness He put inside of you (sass and all! LOL!)

BELIEF #2: “I don’t have the resources.” Don’t worry about where the resources will come from. If you build it, they will come. But you’re probably saying, “I don’t even have anything to build with?” Yes you do! You have your gift and it will make room for you.

BELIEF #3: “Everything has to be perfect.” Don’t let perfectionism cripple you. Build and correct along the way.

BELIEF #4: “I am too scared.” Fear is a liar and will keep you from living out your destiny. You weren’t given a spirit of fear, or timidity, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

BE POWERFUL. Be bold in who you were meant to be. You were destined to be powerful. Stand firm in your core values, mission, and promise and deliver exceptional value.

BE DISCIPLINED. Keep your mind in check and apply discipline to your life and business. It takes mental clarity and discipline to be an effective, successful brand.

SHOW LOVE. From the moment of your arrival on this earth until now, God has been singing a love song over you. You are loved, sis! As you receive God’s love, you’re able to give that love back to yourself, your client, your family, your community and the world.

BE PROFESSIONAL. Show who you are as a brand with professional quality imagery. Remember, you do things in excellence so don’t neglect this area.
